RAEGAN MOYA-JONES
Co-Founder & CEO
Raegan stayed close to home – that is until she moved halfway around the world,
got married, had four babies, and launched a thriving global business. Born, raised
and educated in Sydney, she's been in sales for over 20 years, most recently finishing
up a decade-long career at The Economist Group. But for all of her schooling and
business savvy, she is still best known for being "mummy" to her quartet of beautiful
daughters, who keep her and her husband keenly aware of who is really in
charge of their home in Brooklyn, NY.
Despite her professional successes, Raegan still claims to be the most unlikely
candidate to be an international entrepreneur – she clearly remembers running the
business from her kitchen table at midnight and personally delivering stock out
of the boot (Aussie for trunk) of a taxi cab, all while continuing to work full
time at The Economist Group.
To stay true to her philosophy of "giving back" she launched the non-profit aden
+ anais swaddle love foundation to help understaffed orphanages around the world
hire local woman to care for infants, and is now the author of the soon to be published
quintessential book on swaddling...Swaddle Love.
Nothing makes Raegan happier than being with family, and friends (something she
has not been able to do enough of since starting aden + anais) and enjoying a good
meal, a great bottle of wine, and a sinfully delicious chunk of dark chocolate.
DAVID SUK
Chief Operating Officer
A native son of Long Island's South Shore of Long Island, NY, David currently resides
on the "Big Island" now. No, not Hawaii, Manhattan Island, where he lives in the
West Village. He received a bachelor's degree from Pace University, and cut his
business teeth at a technology company that developed sales automation tools, before
moving to The Economist Group, where he became a sales executive for a multi-million
dollar product line.
His favorite global city remains Sydney, and that's not because it's the hometown
of his boss. David is also the secretary of the aden + anais swaddle love foundation.
PERRIE HENDERSON
Executive Vice President
Growing up in a small country town in Western Australia, I would not have imagined
my life would be in New York. When the opportunity came 3 years ago for my husband
and I to move to the Big Apple to experience all that it has to offer – the nightlife,
the shopping, the buzz – we couldn’t get here quick enough.
2 years later, we had our first child, daughter Aurelia and whilst we don’t think
our life has changed that much, we are now experiencing a very different New York
– one that rises much earlier!
Prior to joining Aden & Anais, my career has spanned Sales, Marketing and Advertising
roles across a wide variety of consumer packaged goods categories and retail channels.
Some of the many brands I have been fortunate to work on are Kit Kat, Milo, Nescafe,
Nesquik, Bertolli, Ragu, Snickers, Purina, Good Humor, Klondike & Popsicle.
When I am not spending time with my family and friends, I love to go for runs, dabble
in yoga and religiously read gossip mags (preferably whilst getting a mani-pedi).
ANDREA VEIGA
Managing Director
Born and raised on Long Island in New York, and armed with a degree in criminal
justice from Pace University, Andrea is vigilant at policing and managing the aden
+ anais international supply chain, production, and fulfillment functions. As a
professional, however, her background is not in crime fighting, but rather in marketing
commercial real estate, the field in which she worked before joining aden + anais.
She is a real pushover for kitschy walking tours, and loves snapping pictures at
all the touristy places she passes. She likes spending time with her sister Stephanie,
who is her best friend, and enjoys catching reruns of I Love Lucy and the Golden
Girls. Perhaps more important, she can't imagine a circumstance when she would choose
eating a steak over a big bowl of luscious pasta – not ever.
BRIAN MATTHEW
Senior Accounts Manager
Born south of the Mason-Dixon Line in Virginia, Brian has spent most of his life
as a Yankee, living in New Hampshire, New Jersey, and now New York – he's still
working on claiming residency in New Mexico. He holds a bachelors degree in economics
and history from Seton Hall University, and began his career in operations at AXA
Advisors before becoming part of the team at aden + anais.
He counts the exotic Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Spain, as one of his favorite
spots in the world. However, Brian could easily reach Nirvana by being fed an endless
supply of chocolate Oreos, meeting Queen Latifah, and spending more time with his
two little nephews (we're not sure he would be willing to share his Oreos with the
kids, though.)
SCOTT SCHREIBSTEIN
Art Director
After a 24-year career with The Economist Group, most recently creating eye-catching
marketing campaigns for the international publishing house, Scott was coaxed by
his dear friend and colleague, aden + anais founder and CEO Raegan Moya-Jones, to
come put his creative mark on her company.
A true New Yorker, Scott was born and raised in the Riverdale section of the Bronx,
where he and his wife (another Economist alumnus) have settled to raise their son
and daughter.
A rabid sports fan, who is not shy about expounding on why no baseball player will
ever break NY Yankee Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hit streak, or why NY Ranger Brad Park
was under appreciated in the hockey world, he is also – to the puzzlement of his
family – an Oakland Raiders football fan.
When he's not in front of his super-powered Mac, he's with family and friends, enjoying
a beer and seafood, watching Jack Bauer save the world on TV's "24", and traveling
back in time to baste in the heavy metal roar of the 1980s.
CARLA LANDRY
National Sales Manager
Children have been a major part of Carla's career for the past three years. She
came to aden + anais® from kids' clothing manufacturer Petit Bateau where she was
a senior account executive. In all, she has six years of fashion experience under
her belt, and likes the idea of making the transition to the tiniest consumers of
all, the babies served by aden + anais®.
A proud Southern Girl, she hails from Thibodaux, La., a town an hour south of New
Orleans. Nevertheless, Carla admits that she loves the energy of New York City.
You can usually find her in one of two favorite spots in the NYC -- an eatery that
promises gastronomical delights or a flea market, where she can pick up fantastic
vintage finds -- a hobby that is just heaven on earth for Carla. She's easy to spot
-- whether in New York, at the beaches or more exotic locales, like Marrakech, Morrocco
-- because Carla's always wearing at least five accessories procured from a local
flea market.
Bitten by the travel bug, she says Thailand and Cambodia are next on her list of
must-see "magical" places. Carla is motivated by family and friends, and "lives
for" her two adorable nieces, Claire and Anna Catherine, back in Louisiana. That's
why the majority of her credit card bill statements read: “Jetblue JFK to New Orleans.”
DELIA ELBAUM
SVP of Global Sales
Delia is originally from NY but considers her college town of New Orleans her real
hometown. At Tulane she studied Philosophy and Political Science so logically she
turned to sales as a career choice. Starting with Knives, Medical devices, Pharmaceuticals,
and then Conference Sponsorships she has worked in sales management for the last
14 years. While working at The Economist Group she had her second baby and was lucky
enough to know “someone” in the baby blanket business. It turns out that using aden
+ anais® blankets was just the training ground for her real calling, which is to
figure out how to bring these blankets to mums around the world.
When she isn’t dining on worldly delicacies she is at home making her famous homemade
lasagna for her husband and two young children (Sienna and Graysen). They keep her
busy at home so when she is commuting or on one of her many work trips you will
always find her with a book in her hand. She claims it is the best way to unwind.
Well, that and a glass of wine.
JEN O'DRISCOLL
Global Controller
Jen was born in New York and moved to Ireland at the age of 2. She returned to New
York eight years later, and now resides in the village of Sea Cliff, on the north
shore of Long Island. Prior to joining aden + anais, Jen spent nine years working
for various accounting firms as a C.P.A and Certified Fraud Examiner.
JENNIFER MEDEROS
Principal Creative Director
"Reach for the moon. At least if you miss you will land among the stars" This is
Jennifer's favorite quote; it seems she has accidentally landed in New Jersey.
Jennifer spent most of her life living in New Hampshire, Boston, and New York. In
the past two years of Jennifer’s life, a whirlwind romance has developed into a
marriage, a beautiful son, and one last move. Jennifer received a Bachelors of Fine
Arts degree in Communications Design from Syracuse University, and enjoyed being
a part of two creative agencies before becoming a part of the team at aden + anais®.
Her spare time activities include shoe shopping, spending as much time as possible
with her son, and consuming copious amount of coffee while reading.
KATE FISHER
Global Marketing Director
Born in Manhattan, raised in Westchester, and married on Chelsea Piers – Kate is
a New York City girl at heart.
As a kid, both of Kate’s parents had marketing jobs in New York City to support
her and her two younger siblings. Kate received her early schooling in Westchester
before attending college in Vermont.
Once at St. Michael’s College in Burlington, Kate began to pursue a degree in journalism
and mass communication. In the summers, she worked at a marketing agency where she
learned the fundamentals of face-to-face and event marketing.
Upon graduation, Kate returned to NYC to live and start her own career in marketing.
Most recently, Kate worked for Wilson RMS – a direct marketing agency – where she
stayed for over 3 years before coming to aden + anais®. Some of the brands that
Kate has worked on prior to joining aden + anais® are American Express, Wells Fargo,
Royal Bank of Scotland, Proactiv, AAA, Charter Communications, and AXA Equitable.
Aside from working, Kate enjoys spending time with her loving husband, cooking and
entertaining friends.
ROB SNOWDEN
Operations Coordinator
Born in Michigan, raised in Ohio, and now settled in Brooklyn, Rob joined the aden
+ anais® team in the summer of 2010, shortly after having graduated Summa Cum Laude
from Muskingum University with a bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate in English
education. He was ready to tackle teaching high school English in New York City
when afforded an enticing opportunity at aden + anais®.
As a result of his insuppressibly competitive nature, playing and following most
sports is absolutely Rob’s greatest passion. A lifelong footballer, he enjoys a
competitive game on the pitch more than most anything else, and is an avid Liverpool
Football Club supporter. In addition, and despite his incredibly futile attempts
to succeed, a single season of playing ice hockey has proven to be one of the most
enjoyable pursuits of his life. His other choice activities include vacationing
at the beach as much as possible, reading, writing, developing his palate for quality
wine, and using his two favorite words, “expeditiously” and “superfluous,” as much
as possible.
Suzie Sheridan
Sales Coordinator & Customer Service Manager
Prideful of being a true Brooklynite, Suzie couldn’t imagine calling any other place
home. Extremely loyal to her parents, younger brother, and band of merry friends,
no favor is too big to ask of her.
Suzie loves to cook and is always trying to improve with the help of her mom and
the Food Network. Suzie is a firm believer that nothing beats the simplicity of
a fabulous homemade cupcake. However, she would never turn down chicken feet while
out for dim sum, either.
Suzie’s father fostered in her a steadfast passion for reading. She enjoys reading
as much as possible on the subway and has no idea how people who drive to work find
the time to read a good book.
Once upon a time, Suzie planned on being a marine biologist. A love-hate relationship
with sharks, however, steered her in another direction (she hates that they would
love to eat her). Achieving her Masters in Visual Arts while at Brooklyn College
made her huge a supporter of local artists and musicians; they are her friends,
after all! Being a humble, yet talented artist herself, it’s not unusual to find
some of her very own artwork in cafés on the Lower East Side or at galleries in
Red Hook.
Lucas Levine
National Account Manager
Born and raised in NY/NJ, Lucas grew up playing whatever sports the seasons dictated.
He moved to FL when he was 16 and attended Florida Atlantic University where he
majored in History and minored in Political Science. Before joining aden + anais®,
Lucas was a buyer at Office Depot and Babies R Us. He moved back up to NJ in 2009
and got married in the spring of 2010.
His favorite things in life are spending time with his wife (Sherri) and goldendoodle
(Maggie), hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and anything sports related.
Of course if the Jets are winning, he is at his happiest. One of the best things
about living just outside NYC is all the cultural diversity. Lucas enjoys learning
about different cultures and sampling any type of food, no matter how crazy it may
be.
