Nadia Ackerman is a singer/songwriter and an illustrator who hails from the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. Nadia left Australia 19 years ago to move to New York City to pursue her dream of being a jazz singer and flourished in the city, releasing six pop albums, performing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America, to name a few media appearances. In 2012, Nadia started seeing her songs as images and felt an overwhelming desire to draw her music. This process led to the creation of “Natchie” (the nickname her dad gave to her when she was 13), and Natchie Studio in Brooklyn was born.
