The beauty of swaddling is in its simplicity. If you have muslin and two loving hands, you can’t go wrong. It’s just about finding a technique and establishing a routine that both you and your little one are most comfortable with.
Muslin refers to a finely-woven breathable fabric. It is believed to have originated in Bangladesh during the Middle Ages. One of the purest, simplest, most gentle and in our opinion, most perfect fabrics in the world. Here at aden + anais we are big believers in muslin’s long legacy of bringing caregivers and babies together.
It is said to be familiar to babies, as it recreates the secure and cozy feeling of the womb. It has also been said that swaddling babies prevents spontaneous movements called the moro or startle reflex from waking them —which allows for a much more peaceful night's sleep.
Our silky soft muslin baby swaddle blanket combines breathability and versatility with viscose made from bamboo, making it the most luxurious fabric to use on your little one. The silky soft baby swaddle can also be used as a stroller cover, burp bib cloth, nursing cover and more.

Softest swaddle ever!My son received these silky soft swaddles as a gift when he was born and three years later they are still his favorite blanket. Naturally, I had to get one when my daughter was born a few months ago. We were not disappointed. This is THE SOFTEST SWADDLE I've ever touched. Perfect light swaddle for the warmer months. We will be getting more.

beautiful and silky soft for sure- but super fragileThe threads of this swaddle are loose and delicate, and the plastic hang tag is secured too tightly which caused both the swaddle I purchased and the replacement aden+anais sent to be damaged. It was too much effort to request yet another before baby comes. Exercise extreme care when removing this swaddle from it's packaging.
